Day Traders use technical analysis to improve the likelihood of success for their trades by taking bets that are better than 50-50. The idea is that making money more than 50% of the time will yield long-term profits, everything else being equal. When combined with proper money management techniques that lead to bigger wins and smaller losses, these dynamics can help generate a significant edge in the market.
